Dreamweaver, an introduction.

This course introduces the student to the widely used program for web site design, Dreamweaver™. It covers a range of tasks that will allow the simple design and construction of a Multi-page web site. It also looks at issues such as graphics formats, and sizes.

On completion the participants will have created a small Multi-page web site, that will be ready to upload to the World Wide Web.

NEW!

Open Access Workshops

Later on in the year PIC will open it's computer facility for past and present students of all workshops, to allow brushing up of skills, get some scanning done or make some prints on our Epson™ Printers. This will simply amount to Stuart being there to "help" with anything needed, and allow participants to explore in an environment that has no formal classes, just 1:1 help. Please ring at least 2 weeks in advance, 0418 595 592, to book.

Photoshop Workshops

Again this year we are offering a series of 'hands on' workshops in Adobe Photoshop™. Typically these courses cover a variety of issues involving the use of Photoshop™ as a tool, for those interested in Photography. Past participants have included, professional photographers, students, teachers and artists.

These classes are kept small, to allow the maximum amount of individual attention for each student. Therefore places are limited; a maximum of 5 people per class.

Areas covered vary as each class is based around the skill sets of attendees. Past topics covered include Scanning/file sizes[what Is the correct size?], colour management, output [printing/CD burning], masking, burning and dodging, non destructive pixel editing.

This year we are offering a series of short one day [ 6 hour] classes on a Sunday. These are designed to get people up to speed or refresh existing knowledge in Photoshop™. We are also offering a 3 day workshop during the school holidays, an ideal situation for students to spend time working on projects.

All classes run from 11:00 am to 5:00pm on the day of each class, light refreshments are provided, [BYO lunch].

Each one day course costs $95.00 [GST inc.] and is payable upon booking your place.

The 3 day workshops cost $315.00 [GST inc] and is payable upon booking your place.

At the end of all the Photoshop™ courses you will take home a completed project, printed out on one of our EPSPON™ printers, archived to CD. And a comprehensive set of course notes.

Dreamweaver Course participants will have a ready to upload site and may even upload from PIC, time permitting, an e-mail account is a helpful prerequisite here!
